The Rev. Tommy D Sheppard

Fr. Tommy recieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Psychology from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Before entering the priesthood Fr. Tommy worked with troubled youth at Youth Villages. He has studied Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and Theology at Memphis Theological Seminary. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from St. Wolbodo Seminary in 2010 and is completing a second Masters degree in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry.

Fr. Tommy is the founding pastor of St. Francis. He is deeply committed to equality of all people especially gay and lesbian individuals. Like the actual Saint Francis of Assisi, Fr. Tommy is an avid animal lover and advocate.
