About Us

The Old Catholic Church is a community of faithful people around the world. The faith tradition began with early Christians in the Netherlands who followed the teachings of Jesus. His teachings on justice, peace, compassion, and equality molded the early church and her faith. Old Catholics profess a faith of action. We believe that to have faith requires us to act with compassion and love to work toward equality and justice among all peoples, but especially the oppressed, poor, and sick. We take seriously Jesus's commandment to, “love our neighbor”.

We're Moving

Rector Sun, 02/24/2013 - 1:23pm

We are excited to announce that we are moving to a new worship space. We have been graciously invited by Central Christian Church to utilize space in their building. We have accepted and our first worship service will be next Sunday, March 3.

We are grateful to Central Christian Church for their hospitality and look forward to partnering with them in ministry outreach.

Two of the ministries we will be partnering with Central Christian on is the GSL Food Pantry and the Clothes Closet.

The So-Called "Classroom Protection Act"

Rector Fri, 02/15/2013 - 11:04pm

As as priest, this bill (HB1332) started by Mr. Stacey Campfield (I just can't bring myself to call this man a Senator) as the "Don't Say Gay" Bill in the Senate is being sponsored by Mr. John Ragan (again I can't call this man a Representative because he isn't even close to representing me or the hundreds of people I know personally).
